Hi all,
I bought a mal 6 months ago and haven't looked back. Coming from kiting and SUP, Im really loving the challange of learning to ride it, with some days better than others. Im going to Hawaii in october (waikiki) and possibly maui as well and I'm wondering if anybody here has any info/experience surfing in these areas.
Any info you might have would be greatly appreciated!

OK,heres' my take on Wacky Wackydont take your board unless you like it smashed up by all the once a year holiday makers at wacky,Hire one from Koa Board Sports one block from the beach, wacky is such a fun wave aroun Sep/Oct,lovely paddle out with turtles in the line up,party waves all day so thats why you don't take your own board out.A must is diner at the Cheese Cake Factory, get in early or be perpared to wait an hour to get a seat, they can do 6000 diners per night good food, head down to The Walk some cool shops there and go to the Yard House for drinks and some unreal sliders ( small hot ) food, the little burgers are yummy.Hire a car and go to the North Shore a real different experience than wacky wacky (real hawaii )Cant help with Maui but stayed over in Kaui which was the best, very country and many a movie shot there.

Have fun
