I refrain from bubbling over to colleagues about it... I bite my tongue...
Paddling back up the long point breaks at a faster rate than those shorties... paddling over to the wide bomb sets, and jagging some beauties...
Even young Bob commented on how many wide bombs I caught, right up until the end, when I caught the last wave of the entire trip... a lovely long fast wide one, delivering me back to the boat in the channel. 
I love my new pintail. I love jamming a nice hard bottom turn, on a 9'1 2+1 or on the Single Fin Pin (hand shape)... The trim speed... riding up front...

Lacey is the only guy I know that carries a fin key in his pocket,catches a wave into the beach and makes a adjustment and repeat repeat
I think I will really start to love longboarding next week when the new beast is finished and I get to spend a week in longboarding paradise. For now I love my 5'10" more than anything I have ever experienced before....she is even better than that Norwegian ballet student from 1996 in London. Infact I have just filled in a little hole on her after draining it all week - such is the care I show towards her. I have not even sanded her back yet so I guess she is just like one of those unkempt ones that Simondo loves
