Oh well, what a shame that some sort of nonsense has seen a bunch of stalwarts pack up and take a walk.

There is a basic problem when people become intolerant of other peoples opinions and take exception to their comments.

I think we all know people that have different views and opinions and whilst we may not agree with them, I reckon that sometimes its best not
respond.

For my money I have always enjoyed the banter that goes on, or rather went on, in various parts of this forum. I have met a couple of the members who were part of the recent issues and I have to say that they were pretty decent blokes.

Though on the other hand I have also been attacked both here and next door for my opinions and pretty bad sense of humour.

I would like to see a return to the earlier happy madness but without any spite or nastiness.

Like Rabbit says to Pooh Bear, "if you cant say nuthen nice don't say nuthen at all".

Maybe everyone should just concentrate on surf and surfing and leave the other crap behind.

As the famous Forest Gump said "That's all I have to say about that".

Mac has been in trouble with the mods, but he'll be back he loves this place and we love him not in a sick Dutch film kind of way more like a mate way.

Whatever, the forum is not dead & I reckon the people who left will get over their minor squabbles & return. Either that or new people will fill the void, longboarding is way more popular now than when this forum started

Shortboard room has only seen a bit of activity lately due to a shark thread which always get the place jumping. But have we seen any interesting input from doggy darth anywhere other than minute responses to other people...nope, this is as big as his contribution gets

Hey I often have to edit after as my fat fingers and auto correct often disrupt my subliminal thought processes resulting in confused ravings far from there intended interpretation.Anyway off to Lombok and a not so secret indo location with little or no wifi but will try to post some brief news flashes from this far flung archipelago as technology permits sorry rambling again over and out of it

I lurk here and post in the short board room.
now and then I post here, the longboard room is where I come to read about fins.
There are some guys on here who know fins, I'm a new long boarder (2-3 years intermittent)
The advice on here about fins is generally current helpful and an education.
I also like videos of pointbreaks we don't get them here

I apologise for not posting. Even though I don't post much. Moving house , really cold and wet down south so I don't have much to talk about. Thanks for reading .
