Well my first surf in 17 years was fun although I only caught one wave which was a face plant due to taking too long to pop up. Surf was waist high and tide was full so not too many opportunities and where did all this crowd come from ?
I am 30 kegs heavier then when I last surfed and it shows when I attempt to stand up. I had a good paddle up and down to get as much execise out as I could. My aim is to surf as much as I can over the next month and looking for gradual improvement.
You never lose the surf sense and I thoroughly enjoyed my time out there.

Mac, yes the pop up is the challenge.

Cheers SP. There's a good chance I'll be out there early again. It was a great feel to just be out there. It will take time but I know I'll get there eventually. I started looking for that Mad Wax movie CMC sent me. "We want to go to Pipeline, sure Wiz"

mate that break is so good , I think you posted a pic one time a while back .... perfectly divided left right bloody nice spot !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

edit: only needs bumps to make it heaven

Actually its no secret where that is the name is even under the clip, not one of my haunts more SMH country.

No joy today Ted.
Tomorrow or Friday early looking better.
No excuses - I surf everyday except when I don't.

SP, Mad Wax clip got me pumped. Surfed that spot in 86 with a few friends and stayed we overnight in the back of my mates F100. We found out that the area has howling dogs during the night. It's a great wave and 'backdoor' works well but you gotta look out for a single rock that sticks up halfway along the ride.

No 8 is my favourite number. Actually when I was initially looking for a 666 at buy and sell it asked me for user name & password so I did. I was looking at Seabreeze for a month until I saw the forum button. I didn't even know what a forum was (with exception of Penthouse). The rest is history.

Board is going good down the side of the house ATM. Up at 5:30 am for work and home by 7pm.
Working Saturday as well just leaves Sunday morning which is usually hangover day. When it's boardies temp I might look at the lunchtime surfs.
