depends on the amount time spent getting there. if they spend 2 hrs talking to a dud, then say 2 board changes. a couple of art changes.

then the emails to go with it.

a few visits by customer to see how its going.

well its starts adding up to lot of extra time for the same cost/price against a bloke saying make me that board on again, just white and usual decals, ring me when its ready.

and the fussy nuisance dud usually wants a discount for being a regular/pain in the

ps. some shapers deserve what they get because they don't listen/ don't write it down or cant be bothered/delays

And $10 says in year or two you get an itch at the back of your head that says "I wonder how a bit more/less vee/concave/length/width/thicknessIn the nose/tail/middle would go...and about that nose/tail rocker..."



The new board does sound sound very cool though and the hybrid nature better suited to how you describe your waves. They sound very similar to some waves I grew up surfing actually and, in hindsight, we all had completely the wrong equipment.

Mctavish are **** boards people should stay away from,nothing but over priced pop outs

They do sell great coffee and way over priced cliche surf clothes i have been told
