...this morning with my daughter - sunrise, smiles and her first dawn patrol.

How were the waves ? It really wasn't important whether they were good or bad !

I still do the dawn patrol with my old man, plenty of great surfs at 5am and no one out. Had plenty of times where it was just the two of us for hours a pumping!

Yep, sure are - it's the GoPro 2 as well so I'm stoked with the quality.

I learnt recently (after posting here) that storing the housing and camera in crystals (cat litter type) and putting together just before the session with the strips really helps the fog issue and it seems to be working a trick - I also use dishwashing liquid on the lense so all in all, they come up fantastic as happy snaps !...and with the footage to make a video so as to embarrass her on her 21st too.

I have had worse partings, but none that so

Saying what God alone could perfectly show ?
How selfhood begins with a walking away,
And love is proved in the letting go.
