As a bit of an outsider, I was attracted to this forum because it was fun, light hearted, entertaining, rather than the scientology next door.
I may be wrong, but I have seen nothing really offensive posted.
OK, I may have once said Chrispy should lay off the angry pills, but he obviously knew more about a situation than me.
And what he was posting did not fall in to "offensive" category.
Even Laceys stuff generally made me smile.
Maybe some stuff gets edgy, a bit personal, but I assume the person it is directed at knows the "In" joke, but that is what makes it entertaining.
Everyone needs to lighten up and settle down, and keep posting irrelevant crap. Or irreverent crap.
As far as posting and deleting is concerned, I often, no, not often, sometimes, compose and post detailed and lengthy replies, with lots of photos, put them up and look at them, and think, "Nah, that was a bad idea". What started as fun turns out to be something else.
Combine with the Shortboarders? If you can't talk nicely amongst yourselves, what hope do you have mingling with shortboarders?
Who never post in "What beer are you drinking at the moment?" anyway.
And here's a picture of Casso on my new board.


And Coopers Sparkling, now you ask.

People need to remember it's okay to read something on the internet and not be offended.

The vibe changed in here 12 or so months ago. A lot of old regulars dropped off and it went from **** talk and laughter to a lot more serious, cliche and look at me. Was much more fun when everyone was here for fun.

But in the end if you don't like it, you can either try and change it or not post / read it. Their is always going to be different opinions.

We have always invited the guys around here for a surf, coffee and on those road trips
some chose to come others didn't from time to time, but everyone was invited some turned
up others didn't.Theres been about 6 road trips I've been on two.Chrispy was invited,Asea who
did his own and Bazz dose his own as well, Lacey who hasn't gone on any thus far.
