2GB is a Gay station

Found this on a sepo forum, take a look at the radio station add on page 3 or 4.

Oh my oh my how times have changed.

Some of the stuff is classic, I'm still going through it, how about 25 cents for a half pound block of wax from Ampol

I just wish the quality was better so I could enlarge the pics to see some of the names.

I tried it with the add for all the guys working at Barry Bennetts but it was too blurred to see the names.

Oh well, these things do often need to the qualified in some way.

2 other things that interested me.

Firstly, an add for a flick called "Hollow Days" I'm almost certain that someone recently said that was still a very good longboard movie.

Secondly, the add for the Simcar station wagons, now that really takes me back.

Simcar were basically the French branch of Chrysler and to this day I can remember their slogan as clearly as anything,

"some car this simcar".

One of those play on word things that never leaves you.
