Is it a bit wider than most? Is that what lets the outline curve be more gradual over the whole length? Or is it just that it's a bit more pulled in in the ends. Outline doesn't look too far from some of the serious XXL guns we all love to watch videos of.
Yeah fair bit wider than most, because I can never handle the sight of seeing such a straight planshape that happens with so many gliders you see. Even the ones from the States. It does indeed almost look "gunny".
Of course these sorts of boards aren't made to be turning as much as something shorter, but it's definitely a welcome thing when there's someone right in the way and you need to be able to turn without giving yourself 5 months notice.
The curvy outline definitely comes through when you're surfing it for sure. The fair amount of roll and turned up rails in the nose is what really does it for me though. No catching rails if you know what to do...
