vanders1 said..Great report Glide, geez mate watch out, you'll get crucified for even thinking such a board could be even close to a regular 'go to' board. If you listen to the masses unless it's 9'3 - 9'6 it couldn't possibly be versatile or fun, and will certainly not do anything but go straight.
We're all meant to struggle to paddle onto waves, wear ourselves out paddling back out and take a long time to get back to the takeoff zone so that every other person can get 2-3 more rides on their 9'1 while we're getting there. Whatever you do don't give yourself any advantages and defiantly don't smile because you've enjoyed yourself.
Ok there's the rules.

Haha...yep it was an eye opener for sure.
Being up and riding as u reach the take off zone opens up plenty of opportunities

the other thing I notice was the lateral distance i was covering....sections that flatten out you can just glide across and link up with one from the next peak or if it closed out you could get around the white wash and get the reform further down the line.
and yeah the paddling back out was quick too...you could see the joy in every bodies face when I made it back out again so quick ??
lets hope the honey moon continues.
