11ft and I got it at Mona Vale...the Channel Islands store. He comes here every year or so. This has been in the store for some time and I have always kept my eye on it.
Rails and bottom contours are quite unique.
Looking forward to getting it wet in the morning!

Clean fullish waves or little runners....would also be epic at a spot like crescent etc too I'm sure.

Yep epic site that one. I went with the 9 inch in the end.
ive got a couple in the garage to try out and the guy said I could swap the fin if it didn't work for me but I think it'll be sweet.
Probably need to get the feel for the board before I can start getting to cute with fins...but the 9 inch captain should be a good start

Took the Chriscraft out this morning in some clean little one - two footers.
Wow how fun was that!
Paddles like a Dream and gets into waves sooo early.
The sound of the water and the board picking up speed on a Green Roller reminded me of getting pushed into waves as a kid on a Glass Board for the first time.
Being only 11Foot it wasn't too much drama swing the bottom turn and get it pointed down the line....and when you did the thing just took off...super stable and an absolute hoot.
Cross stepping was like waking down the footpath and although I didnt wax the last foot of the nose I certainly could of got afew fives in but was just enjoying the ride too much!
I rode it leash-less and although i know some guys frown upon it...for a board like that and the opportunities to move back and forth that you get, its almost has to be.
My longboards are 9-6 to 10 foot so it still felt really manageable and alot smaller in the water than getting it out of the garage this morning!
The 9 inch Fin felt perfect and held the tail in....i think even in bigger waves it would be sweet, as the long parallel rails lock in and shoot you down the line.
I had to reign myself in after an hour or so cause i was starting get abit greedy but was frothing so much i found it hard to hold back!

Anyway...i know most people always say their new boards are awesome etc...but i can feel after this first ride that this is going to be one of my fav all time boards and i think the range of conditions i can ride it in will be wider than i initially thought!

i can see how people get addicted to riding this style of board.

Being up and riding as u reach the take off zone opens up plenty of opportunities
the other thing I notice was the lateral distance i was covering....sections that flatten out you can just glide across and link up with one from the next peak or if it closed out you could get around the white wash and get the reform further down the line.
and yeah the paddling back out was quick too...you could see the joy in every bodies face when I made it back out again so quick ??

I always tell a mate on his 12 foot munoz to go & I take off behind him. Technically its his wave coz he's up & running before me. But he will race off & end up on another section miles ahead of me. But its good, 2 for 1 type a deal

Ive a question for the 10 plus wave pigs.
If you rolled up to a perfect point with 2 to 3 ft waves with nobody would you surf your 11 or 12 fter.
