anybody else had issues, this appears to be a issue with the non wetting of glassing on bottom, my repairer has cut sections of the bottom, glass matting lacks glassing, be interesting to see what starboard says.
starboard has responded to my email see what happens.
From the hundreds of boards i have repaired if its one of the cheaper hrs style constructions that is very normal. I think they are made with a non woven glass like a bathtub and quite often the bottom layer is very dry. I have just done a windsurf board that was very bad once you ground back the top layer.
With 90% of the boards I've seen inside of, I've been struck by how crappily they have been made. Pretty much all the brands use the cheapest materials and methods they can get away with. After all, companies exist to make money, not boards that will last 100 yrs. If you want a quality build, get a custom.
