Howdy. I`m doing a trip to Adelaide along the GOR next week. Just wondering if anyone has done it recently and can give me some hints on where I can hire a SUP along the way. I`m more interested in Apollo bay to Adelaide as I`m certain there are plenty of places between Torquay and Apollo bay. I`m travelling with my wife in a hired motorhome. I ride a 9ft 6 fanatic but I don`t really care what I use. I`d just like to have a bit of fun in the ocean.
Also Is it possible to stay overnight anywhere other than designated caravan parks. Seems from what I can gather that the rangers can be rather nasty if you just pull over anywhere.
Any other hints (cafes, fishing, walks, etc...)would be greatly appreciated. I know all about the obvious ones. more interested in the lesser known spots. Promise I won`t tell anyone!!
