G day Guys.
was wondering if anyone has had small blisters for underneath there sups.
They seem to vary in size with the largest one being about a third the size of a match head.
I was washing the board getting it ready to put a gopro mount on it when i found these blisters , about 30 in total .l pushed one to see if it was hard or soft and it popped with a small amount of yellow liquid coming out of it . Have only had the board out about 10 times , has never sat in the sun or had a hit . Any one had any thing like this before and is there a fix?
Cheers Mick .

Sounds like the board is releasing gas or moisture through pin holes and the 2 pak paint is blistering or it's from moisture in storage. Very common on cheaper boards but can happen on some major brands.

Check to see if you have sprung a leak and just try and keep it out of really hot sun plus don't put them a board bag soaking wet. No real cure for it except sand and respray. Yours sounds like it's only cosmetic so just leave for now but patch or tape any small blister. No need to worry unless you start to get bigger bubbles.

Take it back to the shop you bought it from and get there interpretation on it.

Same thing happened to me. I took it back to the shop i purchased it from and the manufacturer said it was more than likely and issue when the board was painted.
They paid the bill for the repairs.

Good Luck!

It's probably osmosis - moisture getting into the paint work.
DONT put your wet board in a bag after paddling it.
DONT leave your board in the bag.

Thanks heaps guys for your input to this subject , have learnt heaps about storage and will be doing things a little different from now on .
Hopefully the local surf shop can give it a sand and coat of paint and fingers crossed they will be gone for good . Its a worry when you hear other suppers with the same brand of board having the same problems .Love this board so much (it starts with an F) that have been looking for my next
sup down in size but if this is going to be common in the brand then maybe have to take my chances elsewhere .
May all your days be GLASS ! Cheers
