Burleigh was the same…some nice faces to play on…this swell should stick around for a few more day's…Nowhere beats the GC in winter..it's a stunning place.

The Gold Coast in Winter, now that's a great time to hold the National Sup Surfing competition... The best time to see sup surfing in top conditions, what's that long rideable walls? Nah instead they hold the event at Xmas time in small onshore crap....

I hear ya ockanui,!
Why would anyone bother to make the effort to make a state team if the reward was to be able to surf 2 ft onshore.
The time off work, the money spent to travel and accommodation all for the reward of surfing in Queensland at the wrong time of year . ( no thanks )
About time the powers that be got smart and pick locations and timming of the year to give everyone something to look forward to.
Surfing is always going to be a gamble, but make the odds in our favour .
That is ! If you want the sport to grow , give the surfer the opertunity to show case what there capable of.
That I would pay to watch.!!

Yeah this is the time of year for it.i heard it was pumping across the border 6 ft + but it was a body border who told me thatit was more a 12,6 wave today a bit fat but ideal for the bigboards.
