The 4th race in the Windsurfnsnow race series is on at Middle Harbour this Saturday.
We'll be running a slightly longer course as a test for the Mid Winter race on August 20.

Come down and enjoy the course and the post race refreshments.

All abilities welcome.

Dave Kissane paddled like a machine to take yesterday's win.

A few more pics of the new course where the guys did two 2.5km laps. It brought the paddlers back to the club before heading out again.
Keep August 20 free as we will be racing a 5 and 10 km course that day. An Interclub component will bring people down from up and down the coast to race on this beautiful stretch of water. More details to follow.

I've been trying to get the Mexicans to race up here for years. After us doing multiple trips down to do the Winter Classic and the Lakes race down there it's about time the VIC crew drove North. Being a one day event it might be a little much though. Maybe next year when we go two days.

Who's Andrew?

We've been racing with the Vic guys for years so it's time for a warmer water trip.

The Skiff Club is a perfect venue for racing and Windsurfnsnow in Sydney have been promoting and running races longer than anyone I think. While they've mainly promoted the ocean races and run the training in Sydney there seemed to be a demand for more flatwater stuff.

Now that I'm not running the Forster event I'm keen to get a similar style event happening in Sydney.

Hopefully this event on Aug 20 will be the start of another new race. It will come down to the level of support it gets from the paddlers.

Such a fun course for racing. Feels like there are runs and bumps on every stretch of the circuit. And the beer at the end is really COLD

I was relaxing getting some paddling miles in up in Brisvegas on Moreton bay and the GC.

Helmy and Nozza will hopefully both put in an appearance at the Middle Harbour Mid Winter Inters 20th August.
Maybe they can drag a few Vic Crew up with them.
We will be having beers on Saturday night at the MH Skiffies in preparation for the day of racing on Sunday.
