some nice good surfing there.
actually got me thinking.
i kinda of got a theory that you peak in sup surfing. then after a while you run out of ideas and become less gun ho after receiving numerous beatings.
i've noticed going back to short boards its taken a while to get the 'pull in' factor back.
just some thoughts - don't shoot me![]()
The 4:45 mark is the best sup backhand I've seen, though I was glad to see one of em fall off paddling at 2min!

Pretty crisp surfing indeed!
Thats gotta be some of the best sup surfing I've seen I also like the fact they throw in some shots of them actually paddling the boards to show their not just prone paddling until the last moment (or maybe they are and thats why they put the paddling shots in
)

Hmm that sounds like it comes from a bitter twisted grumpy member of the longboard forum who lost his mojo ;)
The progression I have seen over here with guys like the Jacko brothers is the opposite. A lot of good surfers getting out in challenging waves and really charging on sups. Plus there are heaps of vids out like this one that show that you can pull in on a sup. Very rewarding when you come out and get hoots from the proners. Probably get more when you dont :)
Can't stop watching this video and reading back Lacey about it too ![]()
Hi hilly , hoots are better than a silent jealousy from proners.
Awesome share-so good to see some solid spray getting thrown around on a SUP. Loving the turn at 2:10.
