Looks like a great idea to help sell more paddle blades (or board repairs). The resulting damage would be the equivalent to opening a tin of paint with a wooden ice-cream stick.



[edit] what's wrong with using your armpit...or between the knees for those with some form of balance.

Surely "paddle dock" or something would have been a better name, when I saw the "sheath" it conjured up something NSFW.

I think a french poster (there's got to be a joke in there somewhere) posted a clip of a little bungee loop on the waist band of the boardies. You can hook the end of the paddle in there to free your hands, or prone paddle or do whatever. Sounds like a much better idea than putting a sheath on your board. Ribbed for better grip?
