This is my V3 Bullet in action from a few Maui summers ago. I used 8 different camera angles, but it's NOT as good as any of DJ's Downwind footage. I can't believe I've dropped 12 kilo's since this footage was taken. I love this unlimited board I must be the only person on the Planet thats never paddled a 14ft board & am not likely to ether, they just don't turn my on.

The V3 Bullet as most know it is the Maui built hollow 14'. It is the Maui built equivalent of the production 14' V2 which we get here. Only difference being its slightly narrower at 26 5/8" vs the production 27.25".
There have been heaps of versions of the Maui built unlimited boards, such as F16 v1, V2, V3 and the 17'4" V1(same as current production model), 17'4" V2(only available as a hollow moulded or custom direct from SIC Maui).
And they are currently finishing up R&D on the 17'4" V3 which is narrower, has a flatter rocker and a different nose shape(more piercing).
There is sooooo much custom stuff available on Maui that we never even see or hear about.
It is literally the candy store when you walk I there!!!

Yeah I know there was a 14 v3. But I thought there was only 2 versions of the 17,4.

I do remember you get a different board then the normal or first bullet. It was a little Flatter and wider in the nose from memory

Hi DW, Nice video. What is your camera/stabilizing system ? It seems to float above the board in the film.
