G'day Gents,

"We pedal that in a few types of conditions from flat water to open downwind runs to slight S3 downwinders too."

The above line has come from this video, at around the 4min 20sec mark.What is meant by S3? Is that British English for a weather condition? I've googled it but nothing came up.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

S3 = Estuary [the tidal mouth of a large river, where the tide meets the stream].
