You to could SUP like Tom Carroll, well maybe not, but you certainly have a chance of owning one of his boards. Thanks to the enormous generosity of Global Surf Industries, Tom Carroll SUP & Jay Sails & SUP we will be giving away a TC loose leaf SUP to one very lucky SUPer, all you need to do is enter the Winter Classic and you are automatically in the random draw.
Did we mention there's a few sponsors !
Once again we are blown away by the support we get for this event, there is a truck load of gear to give away, Tom Carroll board, bags, wetsuits, paddles, clothing, etc etc and let's not forget free drinks Friday/Saturday.
A special thanks the Damien from Jay Sails Wind Kite SUP who always manages to secure a lot of this gear from his suppliers on our behalf, so don't forget next time you need to make a purchase these are the guys that have supported us so let's support them.

The future of SUPing is in electronics .. as the brain of the human rider shrinks and the exhilaration, goodtime charley and erotic lobes take over, we are losing our judgement.
THE SOLUTION, of course, is to rely on a sports watch with GPS features .. far superior to the modern brain.
AND SO with that in mind get down to the proposed EAGLEHAWK comp site and start carving tracks and mapping the line-ups .. you'll be unbeatable.
Conditions are forecasted to be perfect for EAGLEHAWK tomorrow .. see you there.
WITH FULLY CHARGED BATTERIES
Entries close Wednesday for locals, others contact us direct

2MT showing his moves from last year to take out the 0/70
It all kicks off tomorrow with free surf Friday at the neck, only to be followed up with free drinks Friday at the Lufra??
We have a record number of locals entered, but only one brave sole has made the journey from the big island this year who will take on a team of Tassie Allstars for the Australian Cold Water SUP Championship.
Eagle Hawk Neck once again turned it on for this years event, with sunshine a small easterly swell and over 50 entries filling 8 hotly contested divisions it was a big day for all.
Phillip Island frother Glenn Heil put on an exciting display to overcome 2 current TAS Champions on his way to taking out the Australian Cold Water SUP Championship.
Big thanks to the many sponsors and the Lufra hotel who kept us all warm and watered over a big weekend.

After taking out the 0/40 division at the TassieSUP Winter Classic on a borrowed board Simon Hansen-Lohrey was stoked to take home the Tom Carroll Paddle Board from the draw, the whole crew were frothing over this sweet looking SUP, huge thanks to Global Surf Industries, Tom Carroll Paddle Surf and Jay sails Wind Kite & SUP for the board and the 6 carbon paddles.
An extremely well run event. Thanks heaps to all the sponsors, particularly Damian from Jay Sails and Sup. The prizes and show bags were amazing. Was my first sup event and really keen to be part of the fun again. Thanks to all involved and the guys from Surfing Tasmania for their expertise in running the event.
On behalf of TassieSUP and the crew that attended this years Classic I would like to say a massive thank you for the merchandise that our sponsors supplied to us, I can tell you all the competitors were blown away with the amount of gear they took home thanks to their generosity, we are certainly humbled by the support we received.
Although the surf wasn't "pumping" the crew were frothing all weekend whether it be in the water, on the beach or in the bar and it was great to see so many new faces as well as catch up with old friends.
Once again thanks to our sponsors for your support and let us know if we can ever do anything in return for you.
