Hi all are heading up to Noosa for a bit of R&R and are after some recommendations for surf sup hire. Are staying just off Hastings St so anything close would be great. In the past I have often hired a board in Sunshine Coast for 2 weeks straight, but this time I don't think I'd be able to sup every day with family commitments so a place close by would be great to pick up for a few hours or a day. I won't have a car so limited to playing in surf out the front beach.

There is a beach hire guy on Main Beach right in front of the surf club. He has a variety of SUPs nothing too extreme but mostly for learners.
Next best is SUP Noosa, talk to Hayden or Harry they are at Noosaville on the river but will deliver to your accommodation. Look for the Orange Truck.
Adventure Sports in Noosaville also have a variety plus demos.
Noosa Stand Up Paddle is also at Noosaville and also deliver, talk to Rick or Donna Lee.
Apart from them you have to go to Maroochydore.

i was up at Noosa in May and hired a Naish Mana 8'5 GT from kitesurfaustralia.com.au phone 07 5455 6677
they have other sizes as well - cost about the same as a tank SUP to hire for the week.

As the Noosa roving reporter ET said out the front of surf club is too easy and prices are very reasonable.

They have moved to the industrial estate in Eumundi Rd Noosaville.

when are you going to be in Noosa? I'm driving up from the south coast on the 13 July for 2 weeks, I'll have a couple of boards with me so you are free to used which everyone I'm not using. They are both 10'6 ones a naish and the other a laird both nice cruisey board for Noosa. We will be staying on Hastings street so if you want to borrow one of the boards give me a yell. I'll have a extra paddle as well.
