And there is still only a few options and thats why you will have many sessions all to your self / ekasfantastic is located within walking distance of beaches and surf unlike others accomidation in the area ,its also epic kiting on the other side of the peninsula ^ Surf SUP Kite all bases are covered.
Or just cruise around in holiday mode the scenery and elevated headlands are unique to lombok the set up is very special .

Has anyone worked out how much each wave costs?
Think I might be just a "subsistence surfer".....surfing local waves that can be quite nice
Rather than doing the "foreign surfers visiting overseas countries and expecting nirvana" thing ?

Whats the best time of year to go for great waves? And whats the best time of year for favourable kiting conditions?

Always wanted to go check out the waves there.
Keen to know what sups you are going to have there, always a pain travelling with a sup. well more the stress of opening the bag and seeing a crumpled board inside...

Any comments on safety there?
Lombok has a bit of a rep for robbings and big knife waving locals.

Kite consitantly mid MAY JUNE JULY AUGUST SEPTEMBER back off mid OCTOBER one of the best sights for swell forcasting and tides is magicseaweed inside / outside ekas higher tide from 12 till dark are best or incoming through the arvos or steady mid tides between full and new moons / for surf eitherside 3 to 5 days either side of a full and new moons fool proof / ekas fantastic local team will look after you

International airport hee im sure you can charter one or your pilot can find it in his manual / we will have sups and kites are coming with instructer garuda take sups no problems / bali lombok big plane ok

Sounds unreal. I'm in the planning stage for a trip next year. When is the best time of year for SUP and shortbord surfing?
