Hi all

I'm looking for ideas for carrying a 10'6" Evoke board on my boat a rack or something

pretty sure it won't fit in the cabin ...

anyone made something for a boat ... the other option is towing it

Haven't made anything, but tried this with a 12'6" Fanatic

It tried to beat up the boat pretty severely.
So tried this.

Effective, but limits access a bit.
Haven't done it yet, but an inflatable would be much better.
Would be fine tied to the boat, and could be strapped to lifelines down the side without damaging board or boat.
Could even strap it to the outside.
Just looked at your photos, and lifelines don't seem to feature - maybe a couple of staunchins to mount it to?

yeah towing would not be ideal

My boat is only 18 foot long ... plus has a keel case so would be tricky getting it in the cabin
will have to give it a go

I would like something that is removable ...

I was thinking maybe a u shaped bracket .. on the side of the pushpit .. then a strap around the upper shrouds ..

but open to suggestions

That's a 19' Savage Nautilus, no centerboard case and no mast post.
Maybe something like a Rhino Rack Canoe carrier mounted to the deck.

Things that size and shape are usually stowed on deck, on there edge with the nose on the foredeck. Lashed either to the safety rails or the cabin. Some tenders you see sitting on top of the cabin facing forwards. I guessing 10' is too long to hang from davits?

Yeah ... would work on a bigger yacht .. this is an 18 foot trailer sailer ..
the board is over half the length of the boat

any where forward would interfere with the head sail ...

might be better to leave the board at home and enjoy the sailing ...
