Hey guys

Took out the 8'0 flash for a few waves last night. A bit on the smaller size but due to the off shore wind, the faces were holding up and getting quite hollow when they did break. Was quite hard paddling on to them on the 93l board without much push but got a few goodies.
Had a surfer come up to me in the carpark and said 'I saw you paddle in to a few bombies- nice one'. Which is much better than the normal sup hate!

Thought the last pic was pretty funny. Got caught up in the lip when making a tight top turn and nose-dove the board on re-entry. Didn't realise it but the video showed the board being sent sky high out of the wave!

Kia ora bro! I'm 73kg, normally paddle a 109l board so took a jump down to this one! I normally sup at maori bay, so if you hang around there you've likely seen me? I was there on Monday night, and a few sundays ago when it was around 2m and solid off shores. Usually the only sup out there!

Still getting to grips with the deck, but yeah I have slipped off it a couple of times. If you're based in Auckland you're welcome to have a look at it, i'm also selling a 105L atlantis mano x 28 x 4 board that I've also had out at maori bay a fair few times.

Cheers for that, nah I'm in the no waves city that is Wellys, but in the mighty Naki for Xmas/ New Year for some spitting barrels - or something like that!

Wicked man! I grew up in Welly, and actually picked up this board from the Naki as my cousins live there (was surfing back beach and Fitzroy on Sunday!)
I know a couple of good local sup-surfers there if you want to go paddling with anyone while you're there or want some local knowledge

Cheers bro, I know the area pretty well as I lived in NP for 10 years and windsurfed pretty hardcore over that time at most of the spots. So bummed I never learned to surf when I was there as its just insane wave country. When the whanau spend our 10 days in the Naki in the Xmas hols we always camp at Oakura campground. I generally get a dawnie in before everyone gets up in the morning, paddling down to the Oakura river mouth or at any of the sand bars along the beach in front of the campground, so its pretty easy. Counting the minutes till when we get there!
