You don't know what disabilities they are dealing with, so I'd suggest being careful about being judgemental until you do.

These guys aren't in the first flush of youth, and it might be very hard for them - perhaps impossible - to get back on these boards if they fall. So actually, they might be being quite brave here, and I'm never gonna knock anyone for getting outside and being physically active.

I'll second Area10's comment...... these folks are showing up in the best way they can envision or do...... can that be said for most of the waking majority ?.. the developer of this SUP chair is San Diego based, my home ground.. the chair has brought the opportunity to be on the water for many who couldn't otherwise......

And, you can virtually simulate OC style paddling conditions on a SUP for for a very diverse muscle group engagement and workout.....for a fraction of the cost.

sorry guys no offence intended . Never knew such a seat existed .just thought they were mucking around .on bar stools .
maybe if they do have disabilities ,which I'm sure they don't ,a floatation vest would be in order.
Because if it over turns ?are they hard to upright .?just a question ,
but yeah ..sorry ,and good on them ,they all have smiles on there faces.
and they don't look old to me .as said .

Go easy on yourself Tardy. I also thought it was a joke. Sure, it is great for anyone to get out on the water - good on them. But I am still trying to visualize how a person would even get on a tippy SUP like this and then sit down on a stool. They must have the balance of a cat and the core strength of a ballerina. And as you say - where is the PFD? But sure, good on them for getting on the water if that is their only option, and good on anyone for helping them.
