Just put this photo edit together from a recent trip to Lombok. Pretty old school but I hope you enjoy it.

Thanks SJ. Definitely a great trip. August sure did pump here on the west coast and in Indo.

Great photo edit. Thanks. Where did you stay and was the surfing close by? What SB do you surf? Cheers in advance.

Thanks Kkkk, we stayed at Heaven on the Planet. Expensive but everything included and overlooking the main break. There is other cheaper accommodation further back. (Mick) Waves are crowded at times but like anywhere you can still sneak a few if you are onto it. Currently riding 2017 Starboard Pro 9'0x29 (I am 84kg). I have gone against the trend and am riding a bigger board. Super impressed with the Pro particularly
in bigger, more powerful waves. Set up as a quad. Blue Carbon construction is amazing. Super light weight and I cannot believe the floggings that board has taken with no issues.

Nothing old school about quality pics, waves and location. Great submission - thanks. I agree with you on board length. Watch so many people missing out by going too short!

Thanks Gandalf, I find the extra volume especially helpful in negotiating windy conditions ie majority of the time in WA and Indo (SE trades). I admit I am getting lazier

Thanks for the info mate. Looks like a location that has to go on the destinations list. That board looks really snappy with right rider off course. I'm off similar weight and cant seem to get past my Pocket Rockets with a quad set up..... I keep going back to them
