Hope its better than "the SUP movie", which was basically just a kai Lenny ego/self promotion fest. For some reason SUP seems to attract more than its fair share of that....

Pretty sure this movie will be as much about Casper as The SUP Movie was about Kai. The surfing industry has gone through this stage where movies were being produced solely about one athlete, it is just the progression. my hat goes off to Kai and Casper for obviously taking the initiative in getting these films up off the ground as no one else was going to do it. I think the next stage in high end SUP films will be more along the lines of H2Indo and H2Mexico where you get a 'team' (Starboard, Naish etc) together and make a surf film from boat trips or whatever. The racing side of things needs to be delivered to the masses instantly, no one wa ts to wait 6 months to find out who won the race, a 5 min highlight reel within a week of the event is all we need. Whereas surfing can be timeless.
This is the one that I'm hanging out for the most..
