Forecast was a bit iffy but the swell was there and the wind would be light, nopefully offshore. Good start to the day when treated to this (photo not even close to how it really looked):
Surf was pumping :)
but a bit big for the young fella so he took a few pics. Apologies for the quality as iPhone zoomed in through the dirty windscreen.

These guys had me on edge after all the shark activity recently.













Unfortunately the crowd descended. Some good surfing going down.

Yep it is, after the take off, but good fun before the crawlers paddled out. Nice to have an offshore, feels like it has be southerly for 6 months here.

Ha ha I wish. I was sticking to the bigger wider ones to avoid a nightmare caught inside. The boys all sat on the spot and duck dived the bigger ones that are a bit fatter. Actually should have been on a foil :)
