My son surfs a bit when he can be bothered and seems more interested in SUP now.
He obviously finds my JP 10 x 33.5 widebody real easy!
Tried on a 9ft mal and it is abit too unstable due to lack of width.
I was considering making one but its too close to the season.
Looking for something like a snapped short wave SUP if anyone has anything ....
WA crew......? ![]()
There are mals and mals...
Perhaps you could try other prone surfboards with a tad more volume and width? Longboards or big guys funboards or beginners boards?
Oh I will - just not ideal and I don't want the board all dinged up also hahaha
I have a windsurf quad that is 230 x 66 (90L) so that may work too
But a proper SUP, small one, that has been snapped and is being thrown out anyway is an easy repair project and much preferred to 'other' boards - if I can find one....
^^ trying to avoid using money ![]()
Then what do you have to offer?

Most people seem to not want much for an 8ft SUP that has been snapped in half or had a star picket thru it. ![]()
I was given a 6'6" x about 28" prototype sup that was made from bending a piece of bent 4" foam and simply doing a basic shape. My 9yo boy (now nearly 12) has had a ball on it!
