So today, I went to catch a few small, perfect waves before a downwind. Unfortunatly in the end of my first waves the board capsized after being hit by the whitewater and I was hit by the fin on my ankle. Luckily, despite the pain, nothing was broken or sprained.

Thanks, guys. I made a rookie mistake. Should have pointed the board to the beach before the final section.
Waves are pretty good in Matosinhos (Oporto, Portugal) for surfing with race boards (I surf with 12'6, 14' and now 17'4). On the other end of the beach is always bigger and great to surf with much smaller boards.
