Sorry I have had to start a new thread as the old one has seamed to expire since posting.

But any ways we made it! We landed in Melbourne last night and we pick up a camper van today. We have a few days here in and around Melbourne based over in Richmond so after some ideas on places to go and see if any one has any and all so any fun things to do other than surf. We then head along the great ocean road and do that loop for the second half of this week before heading up to Sydney. I have been looking at magic sea weed for forecasts and surf spots but again if any one can suggest any particular nice ones to cheque out along the great ocean road direction that would be great. I will try and add a few pics along our trip as we go to show what we find. Many thanks

Hi if you are still in Richmond - head down to Swan Street - the "Post Office" (next to railway bridge opposite Lennox St) is good value - sit and watch the world go by - pizza's are great - endless pubs and cafe's depending what you like to eat. You can also stroll down to the Botanical Gardens, along the Yarra into town although why would you want to leave the island.

have a great trip!!!

We had some great waves in Torquay at danger point and imposables. We headed down the coast but unfortunately the wind has been up and killed the waves. We are now in port camble witch is super nice and hoping the wind will be a bit lighter tomorrow so we can find a wave some were before heading up to Sydney.

Where are you headed next Charlie?
Drop me a message if you're headed further south down the NSW coast - Merimbula / Pambula

Yes it's been a huge amount of fun and now have places that I would love to come back and spend more time at. We head up the coast and surfed around Byron bay the last few days and had some great waves with dolphins flying past ether side doing airels which never gets any less impressive and then today we moved up to coolengata and surfed snapper rocks whic although wasn't great conditions it's a big tick on the bucket list of waves to surf for me. We all so dropped by deep ocean boards and tock a look round there which was super cool!
