I think you mean is it Epoxy or Polyester resin and sure they uesed fiberglas.
I'm almost sure there is Polystyrene foam for the blank, so use only Epoxy and nor Polyester for the repair, if in contact with the foam.
If it would be just the skin you could use polyester but then again why, Epoxy is much stronger
