Finally had waves in town so cruised down for a quick dawn session near 3's. This was my first time playing with the "grill mount", so I was a bit off surf-wise due to screwing around with the camera too much. Hope to get another town surf before we roll into fall on the North Shore. Riding my pure fun board, Kazuma Tanto 7' 4".
Definitely need practice with the reo's, after that I want to try and learn how to pop/slide the tail out of the lip. This is usually where I go in town, but I only surf that side a handful of times a year because I'm too lazy to drive down from the north shore.
That was fun. What a big playing field it is out there.
My breathing sounds get picked by my mouthmount, is that what you mean by grill?
Super cool vid, you were ripping. Great cut backs, you seem to have that board wired.
Loved the turtle too, always makes a good session when you see some cool marine life.
Thanks for sharing
Sweet vid.... smooth, flowing carves and snaps.
I always liked the look of Tanto... a friend has one.
