WA crew my bro is on a Plane to Perth then onto Onslow for his swing and has just found out he could be stuck in Perth for the weekend.
Anywhere to hire a race board that he can get out on the river with? Any of the shops close by to the water? Cheers

Closest to the river or ocean would be the stand up surf shop in north Freo.
Saturday morning from 7.30 there is a 4.2k paddle loop at Mt Pleasant, good fun where you nominate what time you will finish in.

Yep that's the problem with inflatables, or any board with entirely soft rails: you haven't got an edge to work with when quartering wind and waves so they tend to weathervane.
Can be the case, I've found that the red paddle 12''6"x 28" Race is tough & tracks straight.
Tracking strip under the nose & strip on the nose to displace water certainly assists.
25psi & battens on the rails, a lot of rigidity makes it work.
