I'm booked and going

Went last year with non water/wind type wife??
But she enjoyed all the entertainment on and off the water.
So going again.definitely
And expect foiling to be a big step up on last year.
Nothing like variety .

It's a OneWheel.. Whole lotta fun.. but not cheap.

Great videos DJ , I'll be there with the Sup foil crew . They have added Sup foil as a demo event , that should be fun expect some carnage.

DJ, what's the go with insurance? I'm entering SUP along with Wavesailing and my 11 year old who has not long been SUPing and keen to enter.

You can sign up with SUP Australia right there at registration which will cover your insurance.

At least, i think thats what it is for...

Unfortunately some kind of insurance is needed and if you don't have any membership that gives you insurance they offer a cheap just-for-the-event type insurance. I know my SupVic membership covers me.. If you need more info re all this you should contact the Merimbula sail board club.. www.merimbulasailboardclub.com.au/

Insurance is never an issue. John Smythe can organise it as part of the rego and it's painless. Definitely the best event you can do when the conditions are on. Great waves. great down winding and great racing......and the hydration component is pretty special too.

Thanks NNSUP. This will be my 26th Merimbula Classic but first year entering SUP division along will my son. I'll still be Wavesailing but wanted get more of a buzz with you guys before the wind cranks in

If you managed to catch the Mambo doco on the ABC the other night you would have seen a few of the old windsurfing event t-shirt designs.

Three legged dog and Jacques Chirac were pretty prominent on the show.
