I'm a judge on the WSL and have judged Kai in a surfing contest. While he's not on a CT Level he would do a lot of damage on a QS.
Obviously, things would probably be different if the conditions really suited him!

If it got big he would definitely give them a run for their money. The big surf recently in WA highlighted this very well.

Looks better at Jaws on his SUP... the paddle brace seems to smooth out the bumps at speed.
