Anybody have any experience with there ALL Around model and FUSION model. Looking to purchase new board. I will use it mainly for flat water paddling , and occasional small surf in the Gulf of Mexico off the coast of Tampa Fl.

User ShireSUP has progressed through nearly all the Fusion sizes so maybe worth a pm to him if he doesn't respond here. I have the 10'8 x 34 Fusion and like it a lot, having transitioned to it (for surf) off a humungous Starby Atlas (but I am quite the fat bastard, bit of an outlier really so ride bigger boards than most folks). The Fusion surfs like a size smaller board than its dimensions, IMO.
Without knowing what height/weight you are, if mostly cruising the flat and occasional small waves is your intended use, the Allround shapes might be more suitable, the Fusions while billed as hybrids are quite a bit more surf-oriented than the Allround, with quite a bit rounder outline and a lot more nose rocker, I don't enjoy paddling mine on the flat for more than a mile or three.

And yes, true I have actually progressed through all of the Fusions, until they released a super small one(i think they brought it out fearing i might by another brand.......) so I am well placed to comment. As your luck would have it, my partner has a 10'6 Allaround and having paddled and surf it more than once or twice am quite well placed to comment there.
But without know your dimensions its only a guess. So based on your criteria or mostly FW and the occasional little surf in places i have no idea what the surf is like, i would pick the All Around over the Fusion. The smaller you get in Fusion the less fun it is to paddle the distance, unless of course you are small yourself, then why would you buy a Fusion then........so my guess as above is the All Around but i wouldn't get anything but the 10'6 anything else is too all around like the Fusion is too surf.

I'm similarly proportioned to Human Cartoon above and bought mine for surf (for me) and is my daughters board when I paddle with her. Does both really well...
