Gerry is a great guy, always a little salty, which is a nice counterpoint to the zen thing. He always gives me **** about my choice of race boards--I tend to go for either unlimited or surfboard class and my surfboard is a Starboard 12'2", which is pretty much a race board in drag. He's really into downwinding these days, and spends a lot of his time here in Hood River. He's fast, of course.
I think Gerry's son Alex is dating Leah Dawson, I ran into Gerry, Alex and Leah at the sixth street Bistro in Hood River and made a fool of myself gushing over her video. Lady has style.
