Hi,Is there any huge noticeable difference between the 2015/16 and the 2017 naish 14' glide.Im after a training, flat water, small wave board.I like the width, old age,so that I don't really need to constantly struggle with balance.thx

I have the 2017 and love my board, the Naish guys told me the nose had less windage than in previous years and the shape tapers away differently making it more stable and the fin it comes with is better than before.

It is heavy and does not keep up with the boys on carbon in a DWer but I don't care it's a great board for multiple water situations and think you should go for it and get one.

Thanks guys for all your advice,I was thinking money. The difference is about $3-400,between the 2015/16 and the 2017,being tight.Im happy that you all agree that I'm buying the right board, for what I want.thanks again

Hey ,I've got the 14 x29 2015 glide ...the shape is different to the 2017 .

the 2015 has a more kicked up nose .narrower tail ..it's really good for DWing ,if you do that .the 2017 has a flatter rocker line .i would say its faster than the 2015 /16.but if your happy with the price of the 2015 ,like I was ,its still a great board .i have the 2015 javelin as well ,but I needed something bullet proof for my friends .the construction is as tuff as it get s..it's very stable .and surfs better than my jav.with the kicked up nose .

There is a slight difference but you need to look really close to see it in fact most people when looking won't see it.. I loved my original shape 14x 29 Glide.. I might have to buy another.. This vid was with mine on a 50 knot day..
