When the world went all shortboard in the late 60's, I was just getting good at noseriding.
I chased "short" with everyone else, but after a few years I missed noseriding, so I got another longboard.
Every time I got back on the shorty, it felt like a potato chip.... woosy, no carve blah.
SO... I brought both boards, every session.
20 min on one..... then swap
Pretty soon I had developed a "chip" in my head for each board.
Even the waves looked different when I swapped boards in the same session.
Worth mentioning..... in low power waves,
I find that my boards with less surface area, give up too much speed to perform properly.
