How to repair a crack

How to i repair the crack. Board smashed into my paddle. Not too bothered Abt the chipped paint but need to seal the crack and repair it so it's gonna last. Any help thanks

I reckon there are 3 ways you could tackle this. Firstly, keep the board off the water and if it had gotten wet with that crack, dry it out as best as you can. Stick a piece of paper towel into the air vent (only if not goretex) and leave it in a warm area with a breeze.

1. As above, proper DIY method is to grind, then fill, then smooth using fiberglass and epoxy (NOT polyester that comes in fiberglass repair kits!). Not easy to do properly, but a worthwhile skill to learn.
2. Send to a professional to do the above plus some paint (resonably priced at under $200?)
3. Sand around the area with 60 grit, then use Selley's Knead It ($15 at Bunnings or any surf shop). Uglier, but works fine for a long time.
