Hi all,

I've been looking online at the Hobie CMLB COMP raw and was wondering if anyone out there has any feedback on them. I currently have a 10'6 Naish Nalu GT 2015 model and am curious as to how they compare. The other reason i am thinking about the hobie is I've got a dodgy back and it weighs in at about 3kgs lighter than the naish. Cheers. Barlo.

I had a 10'6 CMLB RAW, super light like you say, and very, very fast... but that made it hard to lock in a relaxed nose ride, for me anyway.
An opportunity came up to trade it for an 8'11" RAW (loved that board) and I was ok letting go of the 10'6 CMLB... it never quite lived up to my expectations.

I now ride a 10'6 Alana (Nalu GS) and I am much happier with it overall than the CMLB.
The Naish is 4 kg heavier, but I really like the way it surfs better, I attribute it to the difference in the tail rocker among other things.
Harold Iggy really got it right when he designed the 10'6 Nalu... it will remain a classic forever. Too bad they are so darn heavy.

Would I like a lighter board that surfs as well as the Alana... yup, yup, I would.

I'm looking towards the Sunove Style.... sounds like a ripper... and super light.
