Well I picked up Helmys new super sexy Starboard Paddle the other day from Sam at Windsurf n Snow. Little did i know it was an adult toy.
Sam said that the new Starboard paddles were versatile and the shaft was stiff yet supple built for speed and I guess the pre preg sticker should have given me a warning.
Then the other morning I walked in to my garage and to my surprise there on the floor was randy the paddle and Doris the pole dancing mop. Yes right in the middle of the action and didn't they look innocent.

After prising them part I put old Randy back in his corner
Next morning there he was at it again abit of B & D, this time with my favourite Hawaiian Big boy . Poor ole Jimbo didn't know where to look. Randy seemed satisfied

Comfy there Randy
Your going to Merimbula before I don't have a straight shafted paddle left in the garage.
Good luck with this one Helmy , I just hope your man enough for him.
He's all yours on thursday sure you can handle him ?
Aloha
Aloha buddy.
You're quite welcome to cut it to your height and use it till then.
I'm not likely to grow an extra 10" or so in height between now and Thursday, so I'll have to cut it anyway.
(Actually thinking about the repairs I've seen of yours on 14' skiffs, maybe not - kidding!)
Thanks again to Sam at WindSurfnSnow for such generous sponsorship at the Middle Harbour SUP Challenge in August.
A new paddle certainly adds to the great time we had up there.
Nozza, mental note - next year do not pack the items marked "wind" and "Melbourne weather" that are sitting in the gear bucket.
Helmy I wouldn't touch that big stiff shaft without protection if you paid me.
I will leave that to Doris the pole dancing Mop
All yours to fondle in the back of Nozzas van
AH
I don't think the paddle rack in the Kombi is ready for Starboard Randy and his pre preg shaft.....
My conservative Sawyers and Fanatics are looking a bit nervous.
And another thanks to Sam and John Engel for a great event in Sydney in August.
And Hugo, Jen, and family for accommodating the Vicco invasion force.
Aloha
