On another note, can you explain how to do that trick with Vimeo re submitting a part of the completed video for it to crunch deciding to accept or reject?

Thanks for the comments.. There were smiles all round and everyone is just having fun.. I think if you paddle that spot that's what you expect.. If you don't like it you can go somewhere else.. There's plenty of good surfing spots nearby that party waves and dropping in are a big no no and everyone's very serious.. and that's fine for people who are good surfers or don't want to risk a crash with someone who's learning to surf..
The video that I did before this was sooooo frustrating with some great music being rejected by Vimeo.. and after about three failed attempts I used Rob Piros's suggestion and submitted a 30 sec vid with just 30 seconds of music.. This uploads very quickly and if it doesn't get rejected I then delete the 30 sec vid from Vimeo and start working on my new vid editing to the music with the confidence that it will go though in the end.. I'll continue to do this until Vimeo come up with a better system to allow you to check your music before going to all the effort of making the vid.. 
Hearing you re party waves. I always walk down the beach that bit extra trying to avoid the crowds. Thanks for the tip re Vimeo, I'll definitely do that for the next one.
What editing program do you use DJ, I just play around with gopro studio currently

Glad you noticed that and you're right..
I'll do my best.. I know it must be frustrating for good surfers to see waves wasted by some old fart just going straight..
