Just come off the water and edited this up in 20 min / few small clean wave today after the swell dropped / The first part was filmed yesterday

Nice bunch of surf! You really have that paddle mount down, I've tried, it's real hard to get those nicley framed angles.

The paddle shots, done like you do, really show more action and how a board flows over the water.

You just got to SUP with really really really steady arm and paddle movements , which suxs, aint that easy.
When i have just tried to totally forget about the camera angles and free SUP the footage gets way to bouncy and all over the shop. (As a few have testified in the above posts)
The other thing is, your the one often out of position filming. (Something to remember )
So you also cope an extra beating, getting caught inside ETC ETC even at a place you surf regulary , which suxs.
That is why i really only do it when the conditions are generally smaller and or groomed , funny enough we had been out for a good hour prior to this decision to get some footage as the swell period backed off.
You do not want to loose your camera ,which ive done , going out when it is pumping and hectic.
You very quickly go into survival mode and the camera gets smashed around as you dont give a **** , its then just luck, whether its there when you resurface ,costly exercise, often not for a lot of extra gain , just some hip pocket pain and a ****ty end to a surf.
Anyway more practice the easier it gets
Fun when you get home and you forgot to turn it on 
Forget to put a sim card in 
and realise the battery' went flat 
at least the go pro seeeeeems to maintain is water tight integrity

hey mate great vid ..had some great sailboarding at the same places a few yrs ago...are you riding the world wide 8ft 5 in the beginning of the clip...I have been on the 9ft 1 kwad for the last couple of yrs but the world wide looks like fun...I am on the central coast nsw amd have not seen any over here at all
