had the south east winds firing on the bay this Friday and Saturday. Friday was good, Saturday even better. Sunny Coast crew came down for the Saturday run, and showed us how it is done.
Both runs from Cleveland to Port of Brisbane. 18km's.

Both days were south easterly. Friday was 20 to 21 knots and Saturday 18 to 20 knots. Saturday was cleaner and better runners, due probably to the 3 days in a row of southerly winds.
Perfect. A little deceiving with the GoPro, doesn't really look like it is that windy but you guys are catching plenty.
How long does it take to do that run?
Time depends on skill level of course mate. Have seen guys do it in 1 hour 45 mins, some have taken 3 hours, and on this Saturday we did it in 2 hours 35 mins....sunny coast guys would have easily done it under 2 hours if they were not waiting for their tour guide.

Yep 1:45 is quick, and I think Mr Keck may have even gone quicker that day if he didn't wait in a few spots for us.....
