Flying to the maldives

Hi has anyone flown singapore air to the maldives with a 8 foot sup
Do they let them on the plane?

Yep, shouldn't be a problem. A mate flew with a 9.5ft SUP.

When are you going there?I'll be there from the 4th of June to the 12th around North and South Male (on holidays) and then I'll head to south Huvadhoo atoll for the following week (working).
After that I should be back to north and south male from the 2nd to the 9th of July (working again).

Maybe we can share some waves!

I am headed there in mid July and Singapore Airlines assured me (in writing) that it would be OK. At the time I told them my board was 9'5" (but it will actually be shorter). A few years ago I took two longboards (not SUPs) and they were fine - one of them was 9'2"

Thanks guys makes me feel better i just don't want to get to the airport and be turned away
We are going end of august for 10 day boat trip southern atolls
