I was wondering if the Naish Hokua X32 2015 and 2016 had any major differences. I was gonna purchase a board and the 2015 ones are cheaper now so I was wondering if I should just pay extra for the 2016. Also does the LE, GT, and GTW make a difference or is it just style?
The shape is exactly the same. The 2015 LE construction is a PVC sandwich, the 2016 is a honeycomb sandwich, both the GT and GTW are full wood sandwich, just the GT is a putty finish which doesn't reveal the timber where the GTW is a clear finish with a glass coat which reveals the timber look.
The LE's are lighter, particularly in the larger sizes. GT and GTW are very durable.
