would have been nice not to name the spot though... it was one of the few left over uncrowded easy access quality peaks (especially the right) left in Lanka. its got a bit of punch (reminds me of big rock down south) Shared some great waves there with 2 other proficient surfers but i was thinking there is NO WAY this is going to last.

You can still fulfil your instagram / social media obligations without creating a mad rush to one of the few easy access spots left.

With surfing being what it is you can rapidly see a nice little spot turn into an over run seal colony within a few short years.

Lanka is a magical spot that is quite rapidly becoming over run with development and progressing surfers with limited skills and little idea of surf etiquette - had a wicked trip there last month but can see it doing a Bali over the next 10 years.

Yes, this stroke me too. It looks likes she does not succeed in putting the board on the rail or keeping it there.

I am thinking that the board has too much volume in the rails (or is too wide or has too big fins?) for her weight and leg power. Or she just needs to put her rear foot more on the kickpad.

Nice clip, too bad there are egotistical boof heads ^^ that have to critique every one else but themselves.

I thought it was a great trip and a cool tune. Thanks for the share.

I am totally open to criticism of my own work - its the only way to sharpen up.

But i stand by my comments on slowing down the surf crowd stampede - having seen many great spots in Indo over run in the last 10 years.

That stretch of coast has been popular now for at least 10 years. Most of the waves are visible from the main road!
I don't know why some tourists like to think they can make the rules for other tourists?

I wouldn't drive over half an hour to surf those waves...you 'secret' is safe mate
