Hello Breezer's
After spending considerable dollars on rail tape options I recently came across this product.
Two weeks later, half a dozen surfs and the tape is doing its job well.
$19 for 25m, yes it's clear, however thinner than the 3m tapes, definitely worth looking at.
Didn't bother getting out the tiny air bubbles, the sun has done that for me over time.

Always good to have the cheapo suggestions.. 
I've heard helicopter tape works well.. I'm not sure if you buy it from helicopter shops or not.. 
Even cheaper - there are good boards that perform well available and no rail tape required
